Missions for September and October
Family Table is a long running service to our neighbors providing a good meal and a place to visit with friends once a month. We recently gave our guests comment cards and asked them what they liked about coming, so if you don’t know about Family Table let our guests tell you:
-It’s fun to see all the people and eat good food.
-I love to come to this meal to eat with my friends!
-The good meal with the salad included. You have a nice variety of meals you serve.
-It provides a reliable, welcoming community and free, comforting hot meals.
-Because I live alone. I don’t enjoy eating alone. This Family Table meets a need in my life. I am not lonely when I am here.
-Cannot cook, so really appreciated. I picked up for my wife and myself for 3 ½ years. She has now passed so I can join you! Thank you very much.
-Nice to get out for a meal. I don’t have to cook and the people are so friendly and welcoming.
-Feel welcome – friendly people and close to home too. GOOD FOOD!
-Community, prayers and food.
-My friend brought me. Was alone, moved from out of the city, couldn’t have met nicer people than everyone here.
-Meals – Enjoy the hearty meals, don’t leave hungry. Like talking with other men, ladies are so sweet and caring.
-Thank you so for providing this delicious meal for us. It makes a Huge difference in my life.
Family Table continues to make a difference in people’s lives because of the many volunteers. As of June 2026, Total meals served =22,035. If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to the church office or to Judy Lange.
Coming Up: Celebrate Family Table. On Sept 11th we will celebrate the volunteers and guests of Family Table during the worship service.
