UMW Reading Program

Anytime is a great time to read!  To earn a "Reading Program Plan 1" award, all you need to do is read 4 books and read Response Magazine regularly!  Choose one book from each category.  There are also awards at 10, 15 and 20 book reading levels.  The four categories are our four mission emphases: Spiritual Growth, Education for Mission, Social Action and Nurturing for Community.  Books can be chosen from the current list and from the lists of the 4 previous years.

Current Reading Program books are available in our church library near the VHS tapes.  Neon tape on the binding identifies UMW reading Program books.  Check them out just like any library book.  Simply sign and date the library card and put it in the card box.

For more Reading Program information talk to Myrna Kuehl or go online to see various UMW resources including the reading lists.  You can download current reading lists at UMW Reading Program  Under "RESOURCES" (or :"QuickLinks") click on "Reading Program".
